Gugulethu Sophia Mbatha, also called Gugu Mbatha-Raw, is a famous British film and stage actress which gained more attention after she starred in"Doctor Who" (a British science-fiction TV show) series aired on the BBC channel. Gugu scored a huge hit in the series as Tish Jones. Tish is the sister of Martha Jones. Gugu's viewers loved her openness and she was soon on the way to the long-running career of acting. She's appeared in a number of British television and stage shows. Critics are raving about her stunning performance in the British period drama 'Belle' (2013) and in the love drama "Beyond the lights", (2014). The actress also appeared on American productions on television, including "Undercover" an Tom Hanks comedic movie, and the show "Touch". Gugu was the star of Jessica Swale's play in 2015, "Nell Gwynn", as an actress/mistress of the king Charles II. Her performance was well-received by critics, who commended her acting talent. Gugu won the Evening Standard Theatre Award as Best Actress. Gugu, in a gesture of appreciation for all her efforts in the realm of theatre, was named an honorary Member of the Order of the British Empire.

Chelsea Joy Handler was conceived on February 25, 1975 at Livingston New Jersey. She was one of the six youngest children. Handler's father was a used car dealer, and her mother, a homemaker. Her mother is a German who came into the United States from Germany in 1958. She was diagnosed with breast cancer in 1989 and passed away after fighting cancer for 10 years. Her father was Jewish, and she was brought up in Reform Judaism. Handler enjoyed a pleasant and healthy childhood living in a posh neighborhood. As she entered her twenties she moved to Los Angeles in order to explore acting. Handler was an actor to earn a living for her family. Handler's ability to write stories came into play at the age of twenty-one. Handler then decided to dedicate her entire career to stand-up comedy. Handler started her stand-up career on the Oxygen Network's Girls Behaving Badly which was a reality program with a hidden-camera/practical joke. The series ran between 2002 and 2005. The handler began to appear on other TV shows, such as Weekends at D.L., The Bernie Mac Show, The Practice and My Wife and Kids. Handler has also worked as an anchor for The Tonight Show. Handler made her breakthrough in 2006 by hosting her E! show. The show was named the Chelsea Handler Show. The show ran for two seasons. Handler later performed in the US on Comedy Central Hour Stand-Up Comedy Tour. VH1, Comedy Central Premium Blend and HBO have aired her stand-up shows. In 2010, she was tapped for the role of host at 2009 MTV Video Music Awards. This made her the second woman in history to host the VMA's, following Roseanne Barr.
